The only case in which US citizens are required to notify a change of address is when they have filed Form L-864 with the USCIS as a sponsor. Demonstrating economic resources on behalf of a foreign person.

Did You Know? 

An important reason to cancel the tourist visa is when the visa is used for a different purpose than the required visa. For example, when a person with a tourist visa spends a long time in the United States and decides to study at a school, university, or English academy full time. The visas required for this are the F-1, F-3 or J-1.

You can travel to the United States as a tourist as many times as you want, however, continued entries and exits may be suspicious and in some cases the immigration officer may deny your entry into the country.

Note:

The K visa is to allow the foreign fiancé (e) or spouse of an American citizen to enter the United States for the purpose of marrying or after marriage, to live in the United States. It should be noted that the children of the fiancé can also enter the United States with this visa.

Yes, but only if they did not previously deny the visa in another passport.

B-2 visas are also issued to those who come to the United States for medical treatment. The process is similar of a tourist visa, but the applicant must submit additional for this purpose.

One reason why the American visa is not renewed is because there were too many visits for several months or requests for a visa extension or simply a change of category.

After my boyfriend visa has been approved by the USCIS, what is the next step?

The USCIS sends an approved petition to the national visa center, who then forwards it to the immigrant visa section to tell you that your petition has been received and the steps to take.
